World Mission Society Church of God
Wellington
Dear Jacob and Ruby
This letter is to record the appreciation of the Wellington City Council for the volunteering that you have organised with your Church, and with organisations such as ASEZ (Church of God University Student Volunteers) on environmental and social endeavours.
You have participated in several volunteering activities including the removal of rubbish from streets, bush, the wharves, and beaches. You have also carried other forms of volunteering, such as entertaining elderly patients at hospital-level rest homes.
You make a big voluntary contribution to our city, and you do it with commitment and a sense of fun. You are inspirational in the way that you tackle tough tasks, and the enjoyment that you bring to them. You have been highly successful, most recently retrieving an unbelievable 1.5 tonnes of rubbish, including lots of plastic, from the Grenada North area.
You demonstrate your values in a practical way, drawing your own inspiration from God the Mother. On behalf of the city of Wellington, thank you so much for the work that you do for us.
Best wishes
Justin Lester
