Whereas, the strength of a Great State lies in the contributions of individuals and organizations that selflessly serve their communities, be it through voluntary initiatives, personal achievements in various fields, or a lifelong commitment to good citizenship; and

Whereas, ASEZ STAR, also known as SAVE the Earth from A to Z, Students Take Action Right Now, is an international group comprised of middle and high school student volunteers affiliated with the World Mission Society Church of God. ASEZ STAR actively engages in diverse projects to foster future leaders who put their faith into action; and

Whereas, ASEZ STAR conducts campaigns aimed at empowering students, the future leaders, to create a bright and positive environment at home, as well as to promote sustainable development in schools, neighborhoods, and the world at large; and

Whereas, the mission of ASEZ STAR is to offer volunteers opportunities to comprehend societal realities and develop values that contribute to resolving issues within our communities. Through these experiences, volunteers learn the importance of love and respect for their parents, friends, teachers, neighbors, and the communities they serve; and

Whereas, ASEZ STAR volunteers, as part of their Gratitude in Action campaign, have actively participated in enhancing and beautifying a large section of Webster Avenue within the 78# Assembly District; and

Whereas, ASEZ STAR remains committed to its volunteer endeavors, inspiring hope and striving for a brighter future guided by the teachings of God: "Become the light and salt of the world." ASEZ STAR will persist in raising awareness about the myriad challenges facing the earth and the youth, actively engaging in volunteerism to create a more compassionate world; and

Whereas, the dedicated service rendered by such organizations, often the lifeblood of our community and state, frequently goes unnoticed and unrewarded; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that as a duly elected Member of the State Assembly of New York, I recognize that in

ASEZ STAR

We have an organization worthy of the recognition of both the Community and the great

State of New York.
