Whereas, a Great State is only as great as those organizations who give exemplary service to their community; and

Whereas, Save the Earth from A to Z, We Are One Family (ASEZ WAO) is an international volunteer group of young adult workers. They are dedicated to promoting climate action, human rights, and global well-being through services in both public and private sectors worldwide; and

Whereas, ASEZ WAO has collected over 269,841 pounds of plastic waste in 28 countries, making a significant impact in reducing plastic pollution and promoting environmental protection through cleanup effort in streets, parks, and neighborhoods across 30 countries; and

Whereas, ASEZ WAO has removed over 55,834 pounds of litter from waterway, including streams, rivers, beaches, and seas—in 12 countries, contributing to the preservation of marine ecosystems. They operate internationally through collaboration with government agencies and international organizations; and

Whereas, through its Plastic-Free 2040 campaign, ASEZ WAO raises awareness about plastic pollution, takes proactive steps to safeguard the planet, and fosters global partnerships to amplify environmental solutions. ASEZ WAO exemplifies love in action, brings positive change, and addresses global challenges; therefore, be it

Resolved, that as a duly elected Member of the State Assembly of New York, I recognize that in

ASEZ WAO

we have an outstanding organization, worthy of the esteem of both the Community and the Great State of New York.
