Citation

Whereas, ASEZ WAO continues to lead with vision and purpose through global initiatives, including the 3rd ASEZ WAO Global Forum on Ending Plastic Pollution at the United Nations, and has launched the 2040 Plastic-Free Campaign, a powerful international effort to reduce plastic waste and protect the environment for future generations; and

Whereas, ASEZ WAO, a global young adult volunteer group, has demonstrated remarkable commitment to building stronger, more sustainable communities through hands-on initiatives and meaningful engagement; and

Whereas, ASEZ WAO has played a vital role in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by organizing impactful projects such as environmental cleanups, beautification efforts, awareness campaigns, and educational forums, all of which foster environmental stewardship, civic responsibility, and global citizenship; and

Whereas, the members of ASEZ WAO have continually shown exemplary leadership, teamwork, and compassion in their efforts to create a cleaner, safer, and more united society; therefore, now be it

Resolved, that as a duly elected Member of the State Assembly of New York, I recognize and appreciate

ASEZ WAO

for outstanding community service, environmental leadership, and global advocacy.
