WHEREAS, the World Mission Society Church of God is a faith-based organization dedicated to serving communities through acts of compassion, volunteerism, and humanitarian outreach; and

WHEREAS, the World Mission Society Church of God has been recognized not only locally but also in various cities throughout the United States and internationally for its commitment to serving others; and

WHEREAS, more than 4,000 people need blood donations every day in the United States and only ten percent of eligible individuals donate blood; and

WHEREAS, the World Mission Society Church of God hosts an annual blood drive, providing a lifesaving resource to Oklahomans in need; and

WHEREAS, the World Mission Society Church of God exemplifies the power of community unity and the spirit of altruism, bringing people together to serve the greater good; and

WHEREAS, the World Mission Society Church of God is hosting its annual blood drive in Oklahoma City on March 15, 2026.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DAVID HOLT, Mayor of The City of Oklahoma City, do hereby commend the World Mission Society Church of God for its service to our community and wish the congregation a successful blood drive on March 15, 2026.
